| Vector | AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
OpenPGP (affected versions not specified)
Description:
The issue allows a Cipher Feedback Mode (CFB) malleability-gadget attack that can indirectly lead to plaintext exfiltration. This is reportedly a problem in applications that mishandle the Modification Detection Code (MDC) feature or accept an obsolete packet type, rather than an issue with the OpenPGP specification itself.
Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
