Description: The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through the Mercurial adapter, involving a branch whose name begins with a --config= or --debugger= substring. This is related to the handling of the --config and --debugger flags to the Mercurial hg program.

Recommendations: For Redmine versions prior to 3.2.9, update to version 3.2.9 or later. For Redmine versions 3.3.x prior to 3.3.6, update to version 3.3.6 or later. For Redmine versions 3.4.x prior to 3.4.4, update to version 3.4.4 or later.
