Description:
A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the ISO parsing functionality. A specially crafted .ISO file can cause a vulnerability resulting in potential code execution. An attacker can provide a specific .ISO file to trigger this vulnerability.
Recommendations:
For versions 9.6.6.3300 through 9.7, update to version 9.7 or later to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of specially crafted .ISO files until a patch is available.
