6.8

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Cisco Web Security Appliance (WSA) versions 10.5.1
Description: A vulnerability in the FTP server could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to log in without a valid password, provided they have a valid username. This is due to incorrect FTP user credential validation. An attacker could exploit this by connecting to the management IP address of the targeted device using FTP. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to log in to the FTP server without a valid password. The device is only vulnerable if FTP is enabled on the management interface.
