Description A vulnerability in the web framework of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against the user of the web interface of the affected system. The issue is due to insufficient input validation of certain parameters passed to the web server. An attacker could exploit this by convincing the user to access a malicious link or by intercepting the user request and injecting malicious code. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected site or access sensitive browser-based information.
