Description: The issue concerns a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the Theme Uninstallation feature. This vulnerability can be exploited to trick LimeSurvey administrators into deleting all their themes, potentially rendering the website unusable. The attack can be initiated using Simple HTML markup to send a GET request to the affected endpoint.
Recommendations: For LimeSurvey version 3.0.0-beta.3+17110, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the Theme Uninstallation feature until a patch is available. Restrict access to the theme management module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the affected endpoint for theme uninstallation until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
