Description The issue is related to a Buffer Overflow in the WavInFile::readHeaderBlock() function within SoundStretch/WavFile.cpp. This can lead to arbitrary code execution when a victim opens a malicious file in the SoundStretch utility.
Recommendations For SoundTouch versions up to and including 2.0.0, update to a version later than 2.0.0 to resolve the issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
