CVE-2018-10085

CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: CMS Made Simple versions through 2.2.6
Description: The issue allows PHP object injection due to an unserialize call in the get data function of libclassesinternalclass.LoginOperations.php. A remote attacker can upload and execute code or delete files by sending a crafted cookie.
Recommendations: For versions through 2.2.6, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the get data function in libclassesinternalclass.LoginOperations.php until a patch is available. Avoid using the unserialize call in the get data function to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
