CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: b3log Symphony (aka Sym) version 2.6.0
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to upload and execute arbitrary JSP files. This is achieved via the name[] parameter to the "/upload" URI.
Recommendations: For version 2.6.0, consider restricting access to the /upload URI to prevent arbitrary JSP file uploads until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the name[] parameter in the affected /upload URI to minimize the risk of exploitation.
