Description: A pool corruption privilege escalation issue exists due to a flaw in the processing of IOCTL 0x220008 in the TMWFP driver. This could allow a local attacker to escalate privileges on vulnerable installations, but the attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system.

Recommendations: For Trend Micro OfficeScan versions 11.0 SP1 and XG, consider restricting access to the TMWFP driver to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
