Description:
The issue is caused by a use-after-free vulnerability in the
mg http get proto data function, located in mongoose.c. This can lead to an invalid read of 8 bytes, resulting in a denial of service, which is an application crash, or potentially allowing remote code execution.Recommendations:
For Cesanta Mongoose Embedded Web Server Library versions 6.13 and earlier, consider updating to a version later than 6.13 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the
