Description:
An issue exists in the improper validation of certificates, allowing attackers to impersonate the Active Directory server that Jenkins connects to for authentication when Jenkins is configured to use StartTLS. This issue is related to the files ActiveDirectoryDomain.java, ActiveDirectorySecurityRealm.java, and ActiveDirectoryUnixAuthenticationProvider.java.
Recommendations:
For Jenkins Active Directory Plugin versions 2.10 and earlier, update to a version later than 2.10 to resolve the issue.
