Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Jenkins Azure VM Agents Plugin versions 0.8.0 and earlier
Description:
A data modification issue exists that allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to attach a public IP address to an Azure VM agent. This is related to the
AzureVMAgent.java file in the src/main/java/com/microsoft/azure/vmagent directory.Recommendations:
For Jenkins Azure VM Agents Plugin versions 0.8.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the
AzureVMAgent.java functionality until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, review and limit the assignment of Overall/Read permissions to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Missing Authorization
