Description:
An issue was discovered where the parser attempts to access a part of a DHCP packet when the network packet does not have the correct length, leading to a panic in the
parse clientid option function in the dhcp/parser.rs file.Recommendations:
For Suricata version 4.1.3, consider updating to a newer version that addresses this issue, as the current version may cause the parser to panic when encountering incorrectly sized network packets. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
