CVE-2019-11557

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WebDorado Contact Form Builder plugin versions prior to 1.0.69
Description The issue allows for CSRF via the "wp-admin/admin-ajax.php" API endpoint, specifically through the action parameter, which can lead to local file inclusion via directory traversal. This occurs due to a discrepancy between the $ POST['action'] value and the $ GET['action'] value, where the latter is unsanitized.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.0.69, update to version 1.0.69 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "wp-admin/admin-ajax.php" API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the action parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
