Description
The issue is related to a vulnerability in the Oracle Outside In Technology component, specifically in the Outside In Filters subcomponent. This vulnerability can be easily exploited by an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP, allowing them to compromise Oracle Outside In Technology. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to update, insert, or delete some of the accessible data in Oracle Outside In Technology, as well as cause a partial denial of service. The vulnerability is associated with inadequate access control in the Outside In Filters component.
Recommendations
For versions 8.5.3 and 8.5.4, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent unauthorized access and potential denial of service attacks.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
