CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools versions 8.55 through 8.57
Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Performance Monitor component of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools, allowing a remote attacker to read, modify, add, or delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to some of the accessible data, including update, insert, or delete access, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of the data.
Recommendations For versions 8.55 through 8.57, consider restricting access to the Performance Monitor component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for sensitive operations to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
