Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Core component of Oracle VM VirtualBox, which can be exploited to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data. This vulnerability can be difficult to exploit and may allow a low-privileged attacker with logon access to the infrastructure where Oracle VM VirtualBox is executed to compromise it. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data.
Recommendations For versions prior to 5.2.24, update to version 5.2.24 or later. For versions prior to 6.0.2, update to version 6.0.2 or later.
