Description A vulnerability in the Cisco Webex software could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on an affected system. The issue exists because the software improperly validates Advanced Recording Format (ARF) and Webex Recording Format (WRF) files. An attacker could exploit this by sending a malicious ARF or WRF file to a user and persuading them to open it with the affected software. This could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system. The vulnerability is also described as a buffer overflow issue in memory, which can be exploited by sending a specially crafted ARF or WRF file.
