Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Valid Session component of Oracle Reports Developer, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Reports Developer's accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Reports Developer's accessible data.
Recommendations
For version 12.2.1.3, update to a newer version that contains a fix for this issue, as the current version is affected by insufficient access control in the Valid Session component.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
