Description
The issue is related to a Stack-based Buffer Overflow in the
dname concatenate() function in dname.c, which is part of the nsd-checkzone tool in NLnet Labs NSD. This overflow occurs due to insufficient validation of input data.Recommendations
For NLnet Labs NSD version 4.2.0, consider restricting access to the
nsd-checkzone tool until a patch is available.
