Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the MySQL Server component, specifically in the Server: Packaging subcomponent. It allows a high-privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where MySQL Server executes to compromise MySQL Server. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. The impact of successful attacks can result in the unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server.
Recommendations For versions 8.0.13 and prior, update to a version later than 8.0.13 to resolve the issue. At the moment, there is no information about other specific fixes for this vulnerability.
