CVE-2019-13598

CVSS v3.1

10

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Vera Edge Home Controller version 1.7.4452
Description The issue allows remote unauthenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands. This is achieved via the code parameter to the "/port 3480/data request" API endpoint, where the "No unsafe lua allowed" code block is skipped, enabling the execution of unauthorized commands.
Recommendations For Vera Edge Home Controller version 1.7.4452, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/port 3480/data request" API endpoint to prevent unauthorized command execution. Avoid using the code parameter in this endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
