| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3
Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.8
Description
The issue is related to inadequate access control in the SQL Extensions subcomponent of the Oracle Applications Manager. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the Oracle Applications Manager, requiring human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of the Oracle Applications Manager's accessible data.
Recommendations
For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version that includes the necessary security patches.
For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.8, apply the recommended security fixes to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the SQL Extensions subcomponent until a patch is available.
Fix
