Description The issue allows remote attackers with portal access to view arbitrary issues in Jira Service Desk projects via a path traversal vulnerability. If the 'Anyone can email the service desk or raise a request in the portal' setting is enabled, an attacker can grant themselves portal access, allowing them to exploit the issue.

Recommendations For versions 3.9.15 and earlier, update to version 3.9.16 or later. For versions 3.10.0 through 3.16.7, update to version 3.16.8 or later. For versions 4.0.0 through 4.1.2, update to version 4.1.3 or later. For versions 4.2.0 through 4.2.4, update to version 4.2.5 or later. For versions 4.3.0 through 4.3.3, update to version 4.3.4 or later. For version 4.4.0, update to a later version that addresses the issue.
