Description The issue allows remote attackers with portal access to bypass authorization and view arbitrary issues in Jira Service Desk projects. If the 'Anyone can email the service desk or raise a request in the portal' setting is enabled, an attacker can grant themselves portal access, enabling them to exploit the issue.
Recommendations For versions 3.9.16 and earlier, update to version 3.9.17 or later. For versions 3.10.0 through 3.16.9, update to version 3.16.10 or later. For versions 4.0.0 through 4.2.5, update to version 4.2.6 or later. For versions 4.3.0 through 4.3.4, update to version 4.3.5 or later. For versions 4.4.0 through 4.4.2, update to version 4.4.3 or later. For version 4.5.0, update to version 4.5.1 or later.
