Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle WebLogic Server versions 10.3.6.0, 12.1.3.0, 12.2.1.3
Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the WLS - Deployment component of Oracle WebLogic Server, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the server. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle WebLogic Server's accessible data.
Recommendations
For versions 10.3.6.0, 12.1.3.0, and 12.2.1.3, consider restricting access to the WLS - Deployment component until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP requests to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Avoid using the vulnerable component for sensitive data operations until the issue is resolved.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
