CVSS v2.0

2.1

Low

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Android device with a build fingerprint of Android/sdm660 64/sdm660 64:8.1.0/OPM1/14.2016.1802.247-20180419:user/release-keys
Description The issue concerns a pre-installed app with a package name of com.log.logservice that allows any app co-located on the device to modify a system property through an exported interface without proper authorization.
Recommendations For the Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Android device, consider restricting access to the com.log.logservice app until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, disabling the exported interface of the com.log.logservice app may help minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
