| Vector | AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Brocade SANnav versions prior to 2.0
Description
The issue concerns the authentication mechanism logging plaintext account credentials at the 'trace' and the 'debug' logging levels. This could allow a local authenticated attacker to access sensitive information.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 2.0, update to version 2.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the 'trace' and 'debug' logging levels to minimize the risk of exploitation. Restrict access to log files to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information.
Fix
Missing Encryption of Sensitive Data
Insertion into Log File
