CVE-2019-0590

CVSS v2.0

9.3

High

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Microsoft Edge (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to insufficient handling of objects in memory by the JavaScript ChakraCore engine in Microsoft Edge. This could allow a remote attacker to cause memory damage and execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation could grant the attacker the same user rights as the current user, potentially leading to control of the affected system if the user has administrative rights. This could enable the attacker to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
