CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Foxit PhantomPDF version 9.6.0.25114
Description This issue allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations. User interaction is required, where the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The flaw exists within the parsing of DWG files due to the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on it. An attacker can leverage this, potentially in conjunction with other issues, to execute code in the context of the current process.
Recommendations For Foxit PhantomPDF version 9.6.0.25114, consider restricting the parsing of DWG files until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid opening DWG files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
