Description
The issue is related to a possible memory corruption due to a use after free in the
SendMediaUpdate and SendFolderUpdate functions of avrcp service.cc. This could lead to local escalation of privilege in the Bluetooth service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Recommendations
For Android version Android-9, apply the necessary patch to fix the memory corruption issue in the
SendMediaUpdate and SendFolderUpdate functions of avrcp service.cc. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Bluetooth service to minimize the risk of exploitation.Fix
