Description The issue is related to a possible out of bounds write due to an integer overflow in the phFriNfc ExtnsTransceive function of phNxpExtns MifareStd.cpp. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. Recommendations For Android versions 7.0 through 9, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent local escalation of privilege. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the phFriNfc ExtnsTransceive function until a patch is available.
