Description
A heap buffer overflow in the CryptoPlugin::decrypt function of CryptoPlugin.cpp can cause an out of bounds write, potentially leading to local escalation of privilege. No additional execution privileges are needed for exploitation, and user interaction is not required.
Recommendations
For Android versions 8.0 through 10, update to a version that includes the fix for the heap buffer overflow issue in CryptoPlugin::decrypt.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
