Description The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the HECI subsystem, which may allow an unauthenticated user to potentially execute arbitrary code via physical access. This is a result of an operation exceeding the boundaries of a buffer in memory. Exploitation of this issue could enable an attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For Intel(R) CSME versions prior to 11.8.60, 11.11.60, 11.22.60 or 12.0.20, update to version 11.8.60, 11.11.60, 11.22.60 or 12.0.20 or later. For Intel(R) TXE versions prior to 3.1.60 or 4.0.10, update to version 3.1.60 or 4.0.10 or later. For Intel(R) Server Platform Services versions prior to 5.00.04.012, update to version 5.00.04.012 or later.
