CVSS v2.0

7.2

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Android versions Android-10
Description The issue is related to a logic error in the getUserCount and getCount methods of UserSwitcherController.java. This error could allow for the creation of new users, potentially leading to local escalation of privilege. An attacker with physical access to the device can exploit this issue without needing additional execution privileges. User interaction is not required for exploitation.
Recommendations For Android version Android-10, consider restricting access to the UserSwitcherController until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, disabling the getUserCount and getCount methods of UserSwitcherController.java may help mitigate the risk of exploitation.
