Description The issue allows a local attacker to recover sensitive data, including usernames, passwords, slideshow passcode, and other configuration options, which are stored in cleartext in the file /tmp/scfgdndf.
Recommendations For Crestron AM-100 version 1.6.0.2, consider restricting access to the /tmp/scfgdndf file until a patch is available. For Crestron AM-101 version 2.7.0.2, consider restricting access to the /tmp/scfgdndf file until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
