Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Fuji Electric V-Server versions prior to 6.0.33.0
Description
The issue allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service by sending a crafted UDP message to port 8005. This is due to an integer overflow in the UDP message handling logic, which can cause the vserver.exe process to crash.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 6.0.33.0, update to version 6.0.33.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to port 8005 to minimize the risk of exploitation.
