Description A vulnerability in the Online Help web service could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the service. The issue exists because the Online Help web service insufficiently validates user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this by persuading a user to click a malicious link, potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary script code in the context of the affected service or access to sensitive browser-based information.

Recommendations For Cisco Small Business RV320 and RV325 Dual Gigabit WAN VPN Routers versions prior to 1.4.2.22, update the firmware to version 1.4.2.22 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Online Help web service until the update is applied.
