Description
An exploitable information disclosure issue exists in the DICOM packet-parsing functionality. A specially crafted packet can cause an out-of-bounds read, resulting in information disclosure. An attacker can send a packet to trigger this issue.
Recommendations
For LEADTOOLS libltdic.so version 20.0.2019.3.15, consider restricting access to the DICOM packet-parsing functionality until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid processing specially crafted packets that may trigger the out-of-bounds read. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
