Description An exploitable code execution issue exists in the DICOM network response functionality. A specially crafted packet can cause an integer overflow, resulting in heap corruption. An attacker can send a packet to trigger this issue.
Recommendations For LEADTOOLS libltdic.so version 20.0.2019.3.15, consider restricting access to the DICOM network response functionality until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid processing specially crafted packets that may cause an integer overflow. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
