CVE-2019-0752

CVSS v2.0

7.6

High

VectorAV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Microsoft Internet Explorer (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the way the scripting engine handles objects in memory, potentially allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. This could be achieved by exploiting a type confusion vulnerability, possibly through a specially crafted web page. If successfully exploited, an attacker could gain the same user rights as the current user, and if the current user has administrative rights, the attacker could take control of the affected system, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
