CVE-2019-6644

CVSS v3.1

9.4

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions F5 BIG-IP versions 12.1.0 through 12.1.4 F5 BIG-IP versions 13.0.0 through 13.1.2 F5 BIG-IP versions 14.0.0 through 14.0.0.4 F5 BIG-IP versions 14.1.0 through 14.1.0.5
Description The issue allows a debug nodejs process to be bound to all interfaces when invoked, potentially exposing the process to unauthorized users if the plugin is left in debug mode and the port is accessible.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.0 through 12.1.4, restrict access to the debug nodejs process to prevent unauthorized exposure. For versions 13.0.0 through 13.1.2, consider disabling the debug mode to minimize the risk of exploitation. For versions 14.0.0 through 14.0.0.4, avoid leaving the plugin in debug mode and ensure the port is not accessible to unauthorized users. For versions 14.1.0 through 14.1.0.5, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the debug nodejs process until a fix is applied.
