CVE-2019-6737

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Bitdefender SafePay version 23.0.10.34
Description This issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations. User interaction is required, where the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The flaw exists within the processing of TIScript, specifically in the handling of the openFile method, which allows for an arbitrary file write with attacker-controlled data. This enables an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process.
Recommendations For Bitdefender SafePay version 23.0.10.34, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the openFile method until a patch is available. Restrict access to TIScript to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
