VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Bitdefender SafePay version 23.0.10.34
Description This issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations. User interaction is required, where the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The flaw exists within the processing of TIScript, specifically when the application does not properly validate a user-supplied string before using it to execute a system call. This can be leveraged to execute code in the context of the current process.
Recommendations For Bitdefender SafePay version 23.0.10.34, consider disabling the launch method that processes TIScript until a patch is available to prevent potential code execution. Restrict access to untrusted files and websites to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
