| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle E-Business Suite (subcomponent: Print Server) versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, 12.2.3 through 12.2.8
Description
The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Print Server subcomponent of Oracle One-to-One Fulfillment, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to modify, add, or delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks require interaction from someone other than the attacker and can significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to update, insert, or delete some accessible data.
Recommendations
For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, and 12.2.3 through 12.2.8, consider restricting access to the Print Server subcomponent until a fix is available.
As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol interactions with the Oracle One-to-One Fulfillment component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
