Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
UltraVNC version 1211
Description
The issue is related to multiple memory leaks in the VNC server code, allowing an attacker to read stack memory, which can be used for information disclosure. When combined with another vulnerability, it can leak stack memory and bypass Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). This can be exploited via network connectivity.
Recommendations
For UltraVNC version 1211, update to revision 1212 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting network connectivity to minimize the risk of exploitation.
