Description
The issue is related to a use-after-free condition that occurs when a raw pointer to a DOM element on a page is obtained using JavaScript and the element is then removed while still in use. This can result in a potentially exploitable crash, allowing a local attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations
For Firefox versions prior to 66, update to version 66 or later to resolve the issue.
For Firefox ESR versions prior to 60.6, update to version 60.6 or later to resolve the issue.
For Thunderbird versions prior to 60.6, update to version 60.6 or later to resolve the issue.
