CVE-2019-2621

CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.3, 12.2.3, 12.2.4, 12.2.5, 12.2.6, 12.2.7, 12.2.8
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Diagnostics subcomponent of the Oracle Application Object Library component. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the Oracle Application Object Library, potentially leading to unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.3, 12.2.3, 12.2.4, 12.2.5, 12.2.6, 12.2.7, 12.2.8, consider restricting access to the Diagnostics subcomponent until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for sensitive operations. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
