CVE-2019-8925

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Zoho ManageEngine Netflow Analyzer Professional version 7.0.0.2
Description An issue allows remote authenticated users to bypass intended SecurityManager restrictions. This is due to an Absolute Path Traversal vulnerability in the Administration zone, specifically in the /netflow/servlet/CReportPDFServlet endpoint, via the schFilePath parameter. This vulnerability enables users to list a parent directory via any file name.
Recommendations For Zoho ManageEngine Netflow Analyzer Professional version 7.0.0.2, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the CReportPDFServlet function in the /netflow/servlet/ endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the schFilePath parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
